Founded in the winter of 2023 by composer, former commercial fisherman and perfumer Nicholas Brittain Shaber, Ilmur & Sjór grew from an obsession with natural fragrance and a period of intense inspiration drawn from Iceland’s landscape. The brand’s first four fragrances became the foundation of its growing collection.
Everything within Ilmur & Sjór is described as fiercely Icelandic, from its scent and aesthetic to its materials and natural Icelandic ingredients. The result is a fragrance collection rooted in the character and landscape of Iceland.
