Participants will explore exceptional Brazilian ingredients—including copaíba, cumaru, roasted mate, priprioca, Brazilian frankincense, cocoa, and rosewood—while discovering their origins, extraction methods, and creative possibilities. Through guided smelling and discussion, the workshop offers a deeper understanding of how fragrance can express biodiversity, identity, and place.

That is correct! Jessica will be teaching us, showcasing, and letting us smell amazing raw materials from the Amazonas, from Brazil. This is a super unique opportunity and we are so excited!
I heard there was a material called monkey pepper? That sounds so cool!
Monkey pepper (most commonly Piper aduncum or Xylopia aromatica) is an aromatic plant naturally found across the Amazon rainforest. The plant provides highly effective natural botanical materials, valued by indigenous populations for therapeutic remedies and as a peppery culinary spice. It is one of the materials that will be highlighted on the workshop
