Maya Njie is a Swedish-born, London-based self-taught perfumer who founded her eponymous niche fragrance brand in 2016. Combining a background in surface design and photography with her Gambian-Swedish heritage, she creates, small-batch, gender-neutral scents inspired by 1970s Scandinavian nostalgia and personal memories.
